Belgian-Moroccan travel enthusiast and quantum physicist Salua Daghay, together with her partner, Belgian marine biologist and explorer Koenraad Ghys, combined their shared passion for travel and discovery to found Unveil Arabia in 2012.

The couple moved to the UAE in 2008, drawn by the country’s multicultural energy, striking natural beauty, and the unique blend of modernity and tradition. Captivated by its contrasts, they felt inspired to share their insights and love for the region through curated travel experiences and immersive storytelling.

Before founding Unveil Arabia, Salua helped develop the official guided tour for Yas Marina F1 Circuit, working with the FIA during the 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Building on this experience, she soon became one of the UAE’s most highly rated tour guides.

Koenraad, meanwhile, worked as a marine biologist on several of the UAE’s largest tourism development and environmental projects. A true explorer at heart, he has ventured into nearly every corner of the UAE and Oman, uncovering hidden landscapes and cultural stories along the way.

Today, the Unveil Arabia team has grown to include a trusted network of multilingual guides and experienced professionals. Together, they continue to develop new experiences, tours, and travel programs, keeping pace with the region’s rapid evolution while remaining rooted in authentic connection, thematic depth, and unforgettable discovery.
